孙萍,博士,研究员,博士生导师,自然资源部高层次科技创新领军人才,中国地质学会工程地质专委会委员、中国地震学会地震灾害链专业委员会副主任委员、国际地质灾害与减灾协会(ICGdR)执行理事、中国岩石力学与工程学会红层工程分会副秘书长及常务理事、中国岩石力学与工程学会工程地质力学分会常务理事等。多年来一直围绕我国西部地质环境脆弱、地质灾害多发区开展地质调查与科研工作,科学研究主要聚焦在重大地质灾害致灾机理、成灾模式与风险区划、特殊岩土体力学特性及灾害效应等方面。先后主持国家自然科学重点基金项目、国家重点研发计划课题、国家自然科学基金重大项目课题、香港研究资助局项目、中国地质调查等项目10余项,发表论文80余篇,出版专著1部,担任知名期刊Landslides、Geoenvironmental Disasters、《地质力学学报》、Engineering Geology、Bulletin of Engineering Geology and the Environment等编委和审稿人。
